Sean Faherty, Founder

Mr. Faherty has over 12 years of corporate & investment banking experience,   primarily focused on leveraged debt transactions for middle-market companies.   He has been responsible for the origination, structuring, negotiation and   execution of agented bank debt transactions and has experience with a wide   variety of transaction types including: mergers, acquisitions, leveraged &   management buyouts, build-outs and recapitalizations.  Mr. Faherty also has   experience raising private equity and mezzanine financing for corporate clients.

Prior to founding DyrectLynks Consulting in FY 2005, Mr. Faherty had been a   member of the leveraged finance units of BNP Paribas¹, Fleet Financial Group²    and NatWest Bank³.  During his tenure with these top-tier commercial lending   institutions, Mr. Faherty analyzed 500+ business plans, performed due diligence on 200+ non-investment grade companies and lead-authored 40+ internal credit proposals; which yielded more than $1.25 billion of debt underwritings and $800 million in committed lines of credit to 30+ borrowers.

Additionally, during his banking career, Mr. Faherty was responsible for managing and maintaining the long-term credit quality of a $265 million portfolio of loans as the primary officer.  He concurrently managed a $235 million portfolio of loans as the back-up officer.     

Mr. Faherty received his B.S. in Finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

During the time that Mr. Faherty was an employee: (1) BNP was the 11th largest commercial bank worldwide with $745 billion in assets; (2) Fleet was the 13th largest U.S. commercial bank with $46 billion in assets; and (3) NatWest was the 20th largest U.S. commercial bank with $28 billion in assets.
